Thanks for the post. The Laud showed up right on time. It was dark but the boat looked nice backing in the channel among all the powerboats. Went past the Musical Fountain just as the show started. Probably only the boatnerds in the audience appreciated that. Asked a lady at the dock if she was Gerry from Boatnerd. She looked at me like I was a little crazy and said no:) (I had to explain Boatnerd.com and then she was pleased to know there was a site she could check on to see when the boats come in). Someone else on the dock told me the Laud had 12,500 tons including 21AA, 17A and 6A limestone and had partially unloaded in Indiana due to a channel depth in Grand Haven of only 18 feet. He also said they would unload at the rate of 4500 tons an hour. They started the belt about 10 PM so they should be on their way about 1 AM.
