Hi Mike- Orrie Vail is the man who figures in the book "The fate of the Griffon". It was Orrie (not sure if I'm spelling his last name correctly) who told the author about a wreck which, the author determined was the Griffon. That is according to the book, I understand there will always be some controversy. Was a model ever offered of this ship? Geoff Steer
