The 150 foot ship was brought to Buffalo in 1987 to offer Lake Cruises and rides to Cyrstal Beach Amusement Park in Canada. The park soon closed and wiped out 15% of the ridership. Then a series of groundings and other repair problems sent the company into bankrupcy. The ship was sold to a "non identified Caribbean-based company" in July of 1991 for $100,000. The original asking price was 1.2 million. Possibly operated in Florida and the Caribbean after leaving the Buff.
