Good evening, You may want to visit the website of the tourist bureau of the region you wish to visit. It may help for logging ect..at:http://www.chaudapp.qc.ca you will find the English version as well. The sub-region is cally Montmagny. The Marine Museum mentioned in a post below is not located at Berthier-sur-Mer but app 20 miles east of Berthier at l'Islet-sur-Mer the village just before St-jean-Port-Joli.A wonderfull village with beautiful old homes and for years, the homes of captains and river pilots You may want to visit the museum's website at: http://www.mmq.qc.ca The Museum is well worth visiting especially the former light icebreaker Ernest Lapointe which is actually intact as if the crew just walked off it!.This Museum also focusses on Capt J E Bernier a Canadian Marine explorer of the Arctic. Dont miss visiting some of the many old churches, many are opened to visitors in the summer suggesting only a personal donation as entry fee. Its a wonderful region with family ties.I would suggest that you drive down by the old provincial highway ie route 132 instead of the TransCanada highway 20, as early as from Beaumont, the first village east of Levis QC. Bon Voyage Frederick Frechette
