The Irving S. Olds is not a maritimer, it is a Super (AA). But it also developed a crack in the spring of 63 in a late winter storm while going up Lake Huron. I was decking on her at that time. We discovered the crack while in the Straits of Mackinaw and anchored there. It was about 6 inches from the water line (loaded) and continued up the side and across the deck about 20 to 25 feet...Ron
