I have found a few accounts of the sinking of the Maggie L. It is a wreck that is located in front of Clayton in about 70ft of water. I have dove it a few times, it's bow was ripped off as a result of a collision with a steel vessel. I have located the bow section and an anchor that I believe may have come from the vessel that struck her but is to large to have come from the Maggie. I am interested in information including exact dates of the incident. Many on line have come up with June of 1927, although I found one stating 1912. Recently someone contacted me stating that they believe it sank Nov 1 1929. He believes the official number of the wreck is 96902. Can anyone help me clarify the facts? Regards, Heinz Wahl
