Hi Alison---There is a monument in memory of Merchant Seamen in point Pleasant Park in Halifax N.S. I have seen it but kinda forget what all is on it for sure there is a dedication of the S.S. Point Pleasant Park [Canadian Ship]torpedoed off South Africa WW2 try clicking in Halifax N. S. Museum they have a lot of Marine stuff including things from "Titanic" Good Luck-- Don [retired Marine Eng.]
