I have been involved with the unloading of rum from the Jo Spirit in Hamiltons United Storage. The smell of 36' of rum coming from the hold is overwelming and grounding cables must be put frpm the dock to the ship to eliminate static discharges. The rum is shipped at a high proof (180) and then mixed with distilled water to get the 40 proof you get in the stores. Unfortunately security is high and no samples are given out. Wally
