Bruce, the name Niagara Mohawk, that you see painted on the side of the laker, is the name of the boat. Somewhat unusual, but the owners/operators - Boland & Cornelius - did that with some of their vessels. If I recall correctly, the United States Gypsum, Dow Chemical, Consumers Powers, Diamond Alkali and Standard Portland Cement sailed with their names painted in large block letters at midships on their hulls.
