Hi Jon, Your logs from that time period would be absolutely fascinating. For several years now I've been compiling a list of ships that operated into the winter (i.e. January - March). My lists go from 1969 to today, but unfortunately there are gaps within those lists. I would like to eventually update my lists to show which vessels were operating in the winter and perhaps post it to this website. I don't believe that my list had the Charles M. White operating in January 1978, so I will have to update it.
